Yagna or yajna is a symbolic way of representing the surrender of the self at the feet of the omnipresent. Day one of the amrut mahotsav started with this very symbolic and holy ritual. Guruhari Swmaiji presided over the Vishwa Shanti Yagna and blessed all the participants. All the participants offered prayers for world peace and for peace within self.
In the evening all the participants of Amrut mahotsav witnessed Suharadam Sarvabhootanam, a 3 hour play, which was a masterly depiction of the life of the Master - Guruhari Swamiji. It was an amazing spectacle and perhaps one of its own kind where 750 benos ranging from the age of 3 months old to 55 year old converged on a single platform. It depicted the important milestones in the life of the Master and the messages that mankind can get from these milestones.

September 21, 2008 was celebrated as the 13th Patosav (installation of the deities) of Haridham Parsippany, New Jersey. This event is always close to the hearts to each and every devotee. For this event marks the blessing of Guruhari Swami Shree to open a temple and cultural center in NJ. This temple has changed many lives and dramatically altered the life-styles of countless youths. If it were not for Swami Shree and this temple, hundreds of youths would be lacking a clear destination in their lives.

Guruhari Swami Shree returned to Haridham on Aug 28. Thousands of devotees eagerly awaiting his darshan lined up along the road for nearly 3 kms. Swami Shree’s care was led by a motor bike convoy. As Guruhari passed The devotees , he gave a special smruti to each devotee by saying “Jai Swaminarayan” and folding his hands.
Once he entered Haridham, Guruhari went to mandir for Thakorji’s darshan, and then he proceeded to the swagat sahba. Nearly three - four thousands devotees attended the swagat sahba.

Guruhari Swami Shree gave darshan to devotees in Dubai between Aug 24 - Aug 28. During this time Swami Shree met hundreds of youths and had various youth sahbas. Needless to say, he blessed and touched hundreds of youths with his un-conditional love.

Guruhari Swami Shree departed from North America on Aug 04, 2008 and arrived at London’s Heathrow Airport that evening. From there Guruhari visited four European countries and met hundreds of devotees in the span of twenty-four days. Having held Atmiya Amrut Mahotsav in London’s Brant Hall, Guruhari continued to have sahbas and youth gatherings on a daily basis.
Guruhari Swami Shree arrived at Berlin, Germany on Aug 18 where he stayed at Manibhai’s home for nearly three days. During his stay there, the devotees organized a sabha, where nearly 300 German friends attended the program. Guruhari Swami Shree invited them all to Atmiya Amrut Mahotsav, and over 100 friends have already booked their tickets.
Following Germany, Guruhari Swami visited Austria specially for a few families and blessed them during the sabha held there.Guruhari departed late that night to Zurich. After spending time in Zurich, Swamiji arrived back to London and concluded his Europe vicharan and departed for Dubai.

One of the biggest events on the calendar of Yogi Divine Society was held recently at Hudson Valley Resort. The Atmiya Youth Shibir is a congregation of youths from all over the world with one agenda…experience Atmiyata first hand.
The Shibir kicked off on Friday morning with Youths pouring in from different parts of the world. Once they were all registered and checked into their respective rooms, all of them headed outdoors for variety of fun games organized by Youths from New Jersey. Lunch was served at different locations, so people could munch on some tasty food while they are playing. There were a lot of tanned faces by evening. The fun didn’t stop there, indoor games were held in the evening, which saw the teams all worked up and excited.
Saturday morning started with Bhajans and some really insightful speeches from Santos and Youths. Youths from UK, Canada, and America spoke on Yuvan Dhare Tevo Thay. This was the theme of the day. They spoke on topics related to the Pratham 16, 18, which talks about good company and good reading. Some Youths shared their experiences with Swamiji and how he influenced their life. Then came the all important blessing from Guruhari Swamiji. He spoke on, how our senses should be positive all the time and look for positivity everywhere. As always he stressed on the importance of Bhajans and Satsang. He also insisted on the importance of Atmiya Amrut Mahotsav 2009. He invited everyone for that event. The evening Sabha saw more speakers sharing their experiences and how Youths are important driving forces in the society. Post dinner session witnessed some really fun events including quiz, music. Swamiji came to witness the quiz and dance shows in the evening. In spite of having a string of meetings to attend for Atmiya Amrut Mahotsav, he wanted to spend time with the Youths.
Sunday, the last day of the shibir started with wonderful breakfast as usual and then the all important blessing from Guruhari Swamiji. He spoke about how, one should have pride in India. The value systems which make India a great country & stressed on the importance of bhajan swahdayThe shibir came to a close with all the youths taking oath to make an attempt to attend the Atmiya Amrut Mahotsav 2009 and make that event a huge success.
All in all a very enriching event and an absolute joy to attend and organize!!

Guruhari Swami Shree arrived from Dubai on May 19 at 230pm at John F. Kennedy Airport - NY. Over 250 devotees from the tri-state area welcomed and celebrated his arrival.

Ramnavami is the birthday of Lord Swaminarayan. Therefore, all Swaminarayan Sect celebrates this day with joy and happiness. Haridham ashram along with devotees celebrated Ramnavami with joy and happiness. In the morning after completion of Mahapooja, Guruhari Swami Shree and Haribhakto did poojan of Shree Thakorji. After the Poojan Vidhi, a Sabha was organized,in which Guruhari Swami Shree described the glory of Lord Swaminarayan. In the divine presence of Guruhari Swami Shree, a Kirtan Aaradhana was organized in the temple for around two hrs in the night. At 10.10 pm (birth time of Lord Swaminarayan) Aarti was performed. Then Lalji was offered Thaal i.e. Sweet, Milk etc. Then everybody took prasad of Panchajiri and dispersed.
