Bhakti Ashram: Lord Swaminarayan founded the Swaminarayan Faith in the tradition of Hinduism in early 19th century. The movement He initiated brought about a phenomenal movement in the state of Gujarat (India), transforming the social, religious and spiritual scenes as never seen before.

One of the many revolutionary movements of Lord Swaminarayan was geared towards the upliftment of women in the society of the 19th century.

Bhakti Ashram of Yogi Divine Society is representing the same movement through the Sisters who are committed to social service and devotional worship according to the precepts laid down by Lord Swaminarayan.

Under the guidance of Sadhvi Suhrad, the 200 ascetic sisters of Bhakti Ashram live a spiritual life dedicated to social and religious service projects.

Spiritual Camp: While the basic spiritual practice of these aspirants is concentrated on forging a devotional relationship with the Supreme Godhead, their medium to realize this goal is the way of service. Rendering all forms of work as 'Service Unto God', these spiritual aspirants perform all the institutional chores themselves - ranging from spiritual guidance & counseling to cleaning & cooking.

Weekly Meeting: With the divine blessings of Lord Swaminarayan and under the guidance of Sadhvi Suhrad, the Sisters of Bhakti Ashram (Haridham, Sokhada) organize weekly Forums, Seminars and Annual Camps for teenage girls and young women of the fraternity. This has served to instill confidence, faith and moral values in them, developing strong virtues of character. Thousands of young women attending such meetings, seminars and camps regularly are committed to a life of piety and spirituality, representing the cultural, ethical, religious and spiritual values that Guruhari Hariprasad Swamiji have upheld as the hallmark of Yogi Divine Society as well as Yogi Mahila Kendra.

Counselling Camp: These Sisters also counsel and settle marriage as well as family discords, inspiring ideals of love and sacrifice, mutual understanding and compromise. This has resulted in a reduced rate of divorces in the community and more harmony in family atmospheres.

Loving Care: One of the concerned projects of Yogi Mahila Kendra is aimed to convey the cultural, religious and spiritual traditions of India to the young generation. They guide these young people towards meaningful and constructive goals of life.

Personal Guidance: Delegations of these Sisters also travel throughout Gujarat & many parts of India and abroad every year to countries like the USA, Canada, England, France, Germany and New Zealand where they deliver spiritual discourses and provide personal counseling to help the devotees to move towards familial and spiritual harmony.
