Mantra Mahotsav 2001:

Lord Swaminarayan has uttered "Swaminarayan" Mantra for the first time in Fareni village 200 years ago. So the year 2001 is its Bi-centenary year. For explaining the glory of the different Hindu Sect Mantras to sociey a multi-dimentional exhibition depicting glory of the Mantra as well as moral and cultural values was innaugarated on 16th Dec' 01. During this 20-days exhibition lacs of people from all the sectors of soceity visited this marvellous phenomenon. More importantly, thousands of school students, during their visit to this exhibition were granted 100% concession on entry fee and food.

All the festivals were celebrated with great pomp; preserving the rich traditional values of India origin.

Lacs of people were spell-bound in many cultural programmes comprising of folk dances, cultural plays and cultural conventions. Selected volunteers of YDS were trained to display extra-ordinary skills in marching bands.
